NOW REGISTERING FOR SPORTS CAMP! Sports Camp is being held at Beaches Chapel School Gym, 610 Florida Blvd., Neptune Beach, FL 32266

Campers participate in a variety of team sports and age-appropriate activities, including: basketball, soccer, flag football, kickball, tag and more! Each day our camp is filled with fun and challenging activities. Campers are required to bring a lunch Monday – Thursday. If your camper will be in extended care, please remember to provide an extra snack! Every Friday we provide the campers with pizza lunch. Campers will be divided into groups based on their age. All family and friends will be allowed to be grouped together, regardless of age.

WHAT IS THE COST OF SPORTS CAMP?

Summer Sports Camp is $140 per week. Daily rates are $35 Monday-Thursday, and $40 for Friday (pizza party).

Extended Care is from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. and is an additional $50 per week. $10 per day.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR SPORTS CAMP?

Summer and Winter Sports Camp is held from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Extended care is offered from 3-6 p.m. for $50 a week, or $10 a day. Early drop-off is available between 7:30-8 a.m., $5 per day. Please note: If your child is dropped off before 8 a.m. there is a $5 charge.

HOW OLD DO CAMPERS HAVE TO BE?

Sports Camp is open to girls and boys 5-years-old through current 5th graders.

DO YOU OFFER EXTENDED CARE?

Yes! We understand that it is challenging for working parents to pick their child up at 3 p.m.

  • We offer Extended Care from 3-6 p.m.
  • Extended Care is $50 for a full week, or at a daily rate of $10 per day.
  • We also offer 7:30 a.m. drop off for $5 per day.

If your child is going to be in extended care, please pack him/her extra snacks and a drink.

If you are running late, or need last minute extended care for your child, please call or text Coach Hulihan or Coach Durden directly. During camp hours, we are unable to check our email so this is the best form of communication.

WHAT IS THE CAMP DAILY SCHEDULE?

WHO WORKS AT SPORTS CAMP?

Our sports camp has been running for 20 years, and many of our coaches began as campers! We are proud of our staff, and they make up a huge part of the camp’s success.All of our head coaches are background checked, trained and certified in the “Protecting God’s Children” course (required for all diocesan staff). Five of our coaches are CPR/First Aid certified.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES CAMPERS WILL PLAY AT SPORTS CAMP?

Campers will participate in Team Sports and age appropriate activities including: Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Kick Ball, Whiffle Ball, Dodge Ball, Tag Games and much more.

WHEN DO CAMPERS PLAY OUTSIDE?

Getting outside and running around is important for our campers - and all kids! However, during our summer sports camp the heat can be unbearable! Therefore, our campers spend about an hour outside. If the weather is bearable, campers may be able to extend their time outside! During our summer sports camp, we work to take the campers outside during the cooler morning hours between 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Campers in extended care sometimes have the opportunity for another 30 minutes outdoors.

DO I NEED TO PACK A LUNCH + SNACKS?

Campers must bring a lunch Monday – Thursday. Drinks and pizza are provided on Fridays! Campers are encouraged to bring extra snacks if they are going to be in extended care. The gym is equipped with water fountains and campers are given frequent water and restroom breaks. It is a great idea to bring a labeled water bottle or a sports drink!

WHEN DO WE HAVE PIZZA PARTY?

One Fridays, campers will have a pizza party. We will provide drinks and pizza. If your child doesn't like pizza, please pack them a lunch.

 

 
WHEN DO CAMPERS WEAR THEIR CAMP SHIRT?

All campers will receive a shirt on Fridays. In order to keep camp costs down, campers who attend more than one week during the summer, will not be given multiple shirts. If you wish to purchase additional shirts, you may do so for $5 a shirt.

HOW ARE GROUPS FORMED?

Campers will have the opportunity to be grouped with his/her friends and family.

Every morning before we begin camp activities, campers will be broken into their groups. We try to arrange the groups based on ages, however if your camper wants to be with a friend, or sibling(s) they will be allowed to do so.
